How to deal with codependent mother?

My mom's in her mid 50's, and im about early 20's. My mom had some troubled past that led to her anxiety and rejection to reality. The problem is, my mom was never that independent to begin with, but in a way that she did what she wanted and still had a place to come back to with my dad. She divorced m dad 2 years ago b/c of differences, and she's still with a deadbeat husband that cannot be found. Right now my dad doesn't want anything to do with my mom, and I'm her only emotional support, she still have a few friends left and she can only go out if there are people she knows. Lately she hasn't need me physically with her too much, but she still calls me 10 times a day, and have to see me if there are no one with her. Her doc has been telling her that she needs to practice going out by herself atleast once a week, but she hasn't been doing that for a while. I unfortunately is very emotional too, my health isn't that great either, and my work is stressful. There's many things I want to do for her but don't know how or have he patience to. Ever time when I tell my mom about how she should think about gettin better and start doing something for her future, she tells me that she doesn't think she'll live that long anyways.

What you need to do is build trust with your dog. We adopted my puppy when she was very young, but she had been saved from a puppy mill and was VERY skittish and scared. It helps if you can let her know that you are in submission. I found that lying on the floor on my back was the ONLY way my puppy would come to us for weeks, she would not come to you sitting or standing. Try to get more on her level to let her know that she can trust you. I would start with calling her while lying down, then when she does that without hesitating, try it laying on your stomach or sitting crosslegged, when she comes then without hesitating try kneeling etc. They are small steps, but thats what you have to do to gain trust. It took our puppy about 3 months to actually trust us and she was VERY young when we got her, so i can only imagine how long your puppy suffered.

I own a 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo LS. Recently the check engine light turn on. I took it to the mechanic and it turns out it was the EGR valve. Well i replaced it. A few days later it turned back on, so i took the car back to the mechanic. This time it was the O2 sensor. I got a new one. Then a few days later the light turned back on. It was the EGR valve again. I got it replace AGAIN, but in few days the light came back on. It keeps telling me that its the EGR valve, but the mechanic says that it running fine and that the EGR valve is working properly. Now he wants to replace the computer on the car. I drive a 2001 Monte Carlo and a weird orange message won't go away when I turn it on. It looks like it could mean check tire pressure or something, but I have and it's fine. It won't go away either. Ok, please don't answer this if you have no idea what lucid dreaming is. Basically, I have never tried the WILD technique, and I'm too scared to because of the scary sounds you could hear. well i just got back from NC and we noticed that it was making a loud noise. so we felt all the tires and the rear tires have goose eggs all over them. now i also think my rims are bent. because the rear tires have a slight inward stance instead of straight. Next, a few swear words are okay, but in my opinion there are far too many in this. Don't go over the top, otherwise the swear words lose all meaning; they don't display any emotion. Apart from that, it is good. Your description and sentence flow is good, but it's just the language and dialogue which let you down.

Fix for Dim/dark Digital Odometer GM?

In my dream, i wanted to remove my wisdom teeth (this is a reflection of reality) but too scared to. My mom then show me how she remove her wisdom teeth by herself. (this is odd because she's not supposed to have any left but i ignore this in my dream). She was bleeding afterward but she seem cool and collected about it. 1984 is very, very good if you're into dystopias, and The Count of Monte Cristo was pretty cool. I had to read it for English so I don't know if I would have picked it on my own, but there's lots of hidden identities and poison and revenge and adventury stuff like that. :D (It's about 700 pages full length, so I reccomend the abridged version unless you like really long, wordy books.)

2003 Monte Carlo Security Light?

I just bought a 2003 Monte Carlo, and when I got the keys to it they were not chevy keys. They looked like they were cut at Menards or someplace like that. The car starts fine and everything, but I know these cars are supposed to have a chip in the key and these clearly do not. My security light doesnt flash or anything when I lock the doors or when I open them. Its almost like the previous owners bypassed the passkey system or something. I have a 02 Monte Carlo, and I just bought a new pair of Alpine component speakers to replace the front two stock speakers. I have noticed, however, that the front stock speakers handle primarily only mids and highs, and the rear speakers handle primarily bass. Is this just the stock speakers, or is the the wiring? Could it also be the stock amplifier? I want to get a full signal going to the front speakers if it isn't already so, so how would I do this?

I've managed to read some books in one sitting but then again, they're rarely 'hard going' books but more like, easy reading fiction and things like Twilight :p I find the same like you for books I have to read but then I just keep working through them, telling myself that in this hour I will read it and try and get to a certain page number. If its boring I work on chapters/page numbers and getting over them. If it's interesting to me then I don't even remember those techniques.

I have two jl audio 12w1v2-4's powered by the r500-1 and they hit so freaking hard! This obviously wont hit as hard because it is just one sub but it will sound great. Jl audio is known know to make some of the lowest hitting subs on the market. The sealed box will give you that punchy bass that you are looking for instead of the boom that you get with ported boxes. It is a great setup.

Feeling suicidal, cant take my family life anymore?

Im 18 and honestly, my family are different people. I'm a different person from my sister and she posseses characteristics i cant stand, and same with my parents, they dont understand thier kids, they just assume they know, but when we try to explain, they just say "oh im your mom, i know you best" but in reality, they really dont get it, they just assume... And with my sister, we always fight, i try not to, but honestly, every week one way or another, we fight and every couple months we fight abut things really deep about our family that the whole family yells and cries. And the thing is, i dont try to hurt any1, its just the fact that people do not chose thier family, only thier friends. So obviously, if you dont chose your family, you will have differences and fights. its just our fights are so dramatic and horrible. My mom thinks we're "bad kids" since we always fight, she doesnt realize we dont mean to, it just happens since were soo different. i cried so much today as wel as the rest of us and i cant take it anymore, ive gone through 18 years of this & am just so fed up especialy when my mom gets upset. My boyfriend is doing drugs!! PLEASE HELP!?!?

I HATE druggies and my boyfriend was like that too, he didn't even drink alcohol but he's changed. First he got really majorly depressed about the past and his parents and childhood and how he never got to live a normal life and seriously attempted suicide but luckily his friends found out and called 911 and they managed to save him. Then the doctors put him on antidepressants but he stopped taking them and said they don't work and he's been taking Oxycontin, the really strong painkiller to "numb" himself. At first I didn't say anything because I felt bad for him and he only did it once or twice a week. But now he's been taking 2 pills a DAY and chain smokes cigarettes. He doesn't have any feelings or emotions when he's on the drug he just stares at the sky and he says that's how he likes to feel, they take away his pain and help him escape reality. Maybe that's true but chain smoking and daily opioid painkillers at only 19 shorten your life by like 20-40 years. I just want him to be happy and healthy. What should I do? :'(

Americans have declined in health on a steady scale since the advent of the television. Kids watch it more than playing outside, or they "sit" and play video games that might promote hand eye coordination, but nothing more. (I do think the Wii looks like a great idea, too pricey though). Adults have watched television in the evenings replacing sitting and talking or reading a good book. If you watch TV shows they are for the most part very unrealistic, and always have been. When I was growing up I really believed there were families like the Brady's. There had to be families that had no "real" problems, no struggles outside of will Marsha's nose keep her from going to the dance, and who didn't seem to have to even work to make ends meet. Maybe we have pushed so much of those lifestyles into our televisions and our homes that we think our families, as dysfunctional as they may be, are not normal. I believe dysfunction is normal. Why do people think im stupid?

So I just completed my junior year and I have to say that was the worst year in my high school. I was placed in everyday algerbra because I have a math problem and I have self esteem issues and depression and a lot of kids had though that I was a idiot or retarded like in math class there was this freshman kid who keeped saying I'm slow. I have ASD/aspergers or degorgies syndrome and I have delayed reaction skills and he was telling me a joke in the hallway where he took a fork and go "he dude check this out Fork you!!! Get it?" And I would take like several seconds to respond to his question and go "yeah I get it" and then he says "Dude, your slow!" And I would just get Mad at him for that. He also calls me stupid in other places and he says I'm a idiot as well and he thinks I'm retarded because in my math class he made a comment to another student saying "yeah you don't need to be in this class but he does." And I got offended by what he says. The thing that offended me most was the one where he said "dude, I'm smarter than you!" And I asked why and he said it was because he thought I was slow. My autism makes me really offended to people remarks so I don't know if they are joking or not. I now think I am stupid and I am a hypochondriac about this. I have a severe daydreaming problem and my mind has a hard time getting back to reality and people just think I'm stupid. I have been facepalmed several times in the past year and been told I was stupid. I cause people to flip out one me when I get a problem wrong. Im so confused. I do like guys, but or about 3- 4 months now ive been on the fence about whether or not im bi-sexual (15 yrs old, female). We love each other but we can't be together... what should I do?

Its turture I love my daughters mother and she still loves me too. We have a 5 year relationship together and we share a 2 year old together.
